Westbrook Dance Academy

2020-2021 Social Distancing Studio Procedures

In light of the increase in Florida COVID-19 cases, and in an effort to continue to enhance our safety procedures, Westbrook Dance Academy will have the following procedures below.

  • Everyone (including faculty) will have their temperature taken with a touch-less laser thermometer. Anyone with a temp of 100 degrees or higher will not be allowed in the studio to partake in dance class. Students can return home and take class through zoom while evaluating their symptoms.

  • Dancers and teachers will need to wear a face covering while in common areas of the studio where physical distancing is not possible.

  • Dancers will receive hand sanitizer while entering and leaving the studio.

  • Dancers do not have to wear a face covering during physical activity while using the classroom 6-foot space markers, designed for social distancing.

  • Dancers who are not feeling well and or experiencing symptoms of coughing, sneezing, stomachache, body aches, sore throat, fever, chest congestion, or another illness should not be brought to the studio for class and should utilize zoom.

  • Please do not bring your child(ren) to class if a family member is ill with any of the above symptoms and has been in recent contact. Please utilize zoom.

  • Please alert the studio if your child or any family member does have COVID-19 and has been to the studio within recent days so we can adhere to our guidelines on this matter.
